Gerry Potter premieres his new book of theatre-verse, The Men Pomes (because men don’t say poems). Continuing the autobiographical themes revealed in his recent publications Planet Young and Planet Middle Age, The Men Pomes unearths working-class men as you’ve never seen them before. In this full-length one-man show, Potter will delve into all things male, exploring the camaraderie of brothers, the abandonment of fathers, the wit and wisdom of Scousers. The man who lived as Chloe Poems for 15 years finally comes to terms with his masculinity. The event will be followed by an after-show discussion.
