The internationally acclaimed Canadian author Anne Michaels reads from her stunning and long awaited new poetry collection All We Saw: luminous reflections on desire and loss, exploring ‘what love makes us capable of, and incapable of.’ Her work plums the depths of human emotion with a haunting, lyrical beauty that leaves the reader winded.

Anne is the author of three previous collections: Skin Divers, Miner’s Pond and The Weight of Oranges, which won the Canadian Authors Association Award. Her novel Fugitive Pieces was adapted as a feature film. Her latest book of poetry, Correspondences, was shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize in 2014. Toronto’s Poet Laureate, she joins us from Canada at the publication of a new poetry anthology, All We Saw, and a collection of essays, Infinite Gradation.
