The Big Issue in the North New Writing Award

The Big Issue in the North presents its New Writing Award sponsored by Creative Industries Trafford and Waterside Arts Centre. At this special event The Big Issue in the North will present the £1,000 award and launch their new anthology of the shortlisted writers published by Valley Press, featuring readings and live music. All funds raised by the award go to supporting The Big Issue in the North Trust, a charity that supports the homeless and vulnerably housed in the North of England.
