Timelines, an anthology of historical short stories for young teenagers, is launching at The John Rylands Library. Come along and let us transport you into worlds you only know from history lessons: from dinosaurs, the Great Fire of London, Victorian adventures and World War Two to the Berlin Wall and beyond. This Manchester Children’s Book Festival project showcases new stories by students from the Manchester Writing School at MMU’s Writing for Children MA, and specially commissioned work by their tutors: established writers Sherry Ashworth, N.M. Browne and Livi Michael. Suitable for children aged 10-14 years. Parents are welcome, too!

Booking not essential but you can reserve places by emailing I.Feindt@mmu.ac.uk
