Manchester Literature Festival & Waterstones present Tore Renberg

7pm Thursday 22nd January

Waterstones Deansgate

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Karl Ove Knausgaard, who was originally scheduled to appear at this event, is unable to travel to the UK and sends his regrets. The event will be going ahead with Tore Renberg in conversation with Jerome de Groot.

A prolific novelist, short story writer and musician, Tore Renberg won the Tarjei Vesaas Debutant Prize for his literary debut Sleeping Tangle in 1995. Since then, he's seen several of his books adapted into film and distinguished himself as one of Norway's finest young writers. Knausgaard describes his latest novel See You Tomorrow as “an exceptional novel, as incredible as it is realistic, written with an explosive force and a pulsating passion for Balzac. A majestic page turner!”
