THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED

MLF are delighted to host a special evening with Tony Walsh, aka Longfella. A brilliant live performer, Tony will be performing a set of greatest hits from his first collection, SEX & LOVE & ROCK & ROLL, followed by a second set from his eagerly-awaited new collection, Work. Life. Balance. (Burning Eye Books), switching between mature reflection, biting satire, gritty truths and epic rabble-rousing. Tony’s performance of his poem This is the Place at the Albert Square vigil to honour the victims of the Manchester Arena terrorist attack in 2017, struck a deep chord with millions of people across the globe and earned him a special place in the hearts of many Mancunians. Come and share some belly-laughs, tears and heart-swelling pride with one of the city’s most inspiring wordsmiths.

Suitable for ages 16+

Doors open at 7pm. Event will start at 7.30pm prompt and run until 9.15pm followed by book signing.
