Jo Nesbø launches his latest Harry Hole thriller Police at this special MLF trailblazer event. A critically acclaimed author, musician, songwriter and economist, Nesbø published his first Harry Hole thriller in 1997. The novel was an instant hit, winning the Glass Key Award and establishing him as one of the most exciting voices in Nordic crime. The film adaptation of his thriller, Headhunters, was nominated for a BAFTA and the forthcoming adaptation of The Snowman will be directed by Martin Scorsese. The follow up to the No 1 bestseller Phantom, Police finds detective Harry Hole trying to find a killer targeting police at former crime scenes. Jo will be in conversation with Barry Forshaw, author of Nordic Noir and the Stieg Larsson biography, The Man Who Left Too Soon. This event is supported by HSBC Premier and the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
