Digital Engagement Co-ordinator (Freelance Contract)

Manchester Literature Festival (MLF) seeks a Digital Engagement Co-ordinator to help promote this year’s Festival (2 – 18 October 2020) as well as year-round events and education projects.

The Festival takes place annually in October, and also presents a Spring programme, signature events and ongoing educational projects.

Profiling fiction, poetry and non-fiction by established and emerging writers, and providing a platform for women writers, LGBTQ+ writers, working class writers and writers of colour, the programme includes new commissions, world literature, culture, new writing and events for young readers.

The Festival is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation and was central to the designation of Manchester as a UNESCO City of Literature in 2017.

The Role of the Digital Engagement Co-ordinator

The Digital Engagement Co-ordinator will be responsible for promoting the Manchester Literature Festival programme of events and year round education activities across a range of digital/social media channels, and developing strategic and reciprocal marketing opportunities to enable the Festival to reach a wider and more diverse audience.
