Story Explorers – Part of the Government's £220M Holiday Activities and Food Programme and backed by Marcus Rashford. We work with Trafford Council, the major Trafford sports clubs & Media Cubs to deliver a creative programme of activities during the summer holidays.

It is open to all looked after children & children eligible for free school meals in Trafford. The Book Trust have donated books and MLF & will be inspiring young people to read them by workshopping the characters and themes using craft, drama & dance before gifting them the book.

Meanwhile, Media Cubs will be a pop-up TV studio and newsroom that turns 7-11yr olds into mini reporters. Once trained the Media Cubs will be reporting on our family festival events in October. We are really looking forward to working with them (more info on www.mediacubs.co.uk).
